The model depicts a timber bridge at the train station in Zwolle, the Netherlands, as a structural system. The structure combines glued-laminated timber beams with a load-optimized arrangement of bracing and supports. Particular attention was paid to modeling the rigid frame joints as well as the load transfer from the superstructure and railings. The structure was based on the curved paths of the beams, which led to the use of both beam and surface members in combination.
