Office Building in Earthquake Zone - Analysis of Stiffening System

This thesis includes the seismic analysis of the horizontal stiffening system of a multi‑story office building. The stiffening system is initially considered as a system of separately acting shear walls and then as a system with a stiffening core. Eurocode 8 is used to determine the design parameters.
