This project includes:
- Structural loads evaluation
- Structural model generated in RFEM
- Results verification with three-layer method
- Column designed with analytical method
- Drawings of horizontal and vertical sections
- Reinforcement drawings for selected structural elements
The building structure was created in Revit and then the analytical model was exported to RFEM, where structural and analytical calculations have been performed. Surfaces were divided into finite elements with a length of 40 cm.
At the point where the column joins the ceiling slab, the FE mesh was refined to 20 cm long elements. The RF-CONCRETE Surfaces add-on module was utilized to dimension the reinforcement of the floor slab and the foundation slab with regard to the ultimate and serviceability limit state (cracks). The necessary reinforcement in the floor slab due to deflection was calculated with the RF-Concrete Deflect add-on module. The column was dimensioned utilizing the analytical method.
