This project involves the design of a steel hall for lime storage. The main part of the thesis presents structural and strength calculations for the following hall elements: main frame beam, lattice purlin, inter-purlin braces, gable wall column, gable wall braces, transverse roof braces, and connections.
Particular attention was paid to the computational model of the 3D structure. The work includes two main design stages: preliminary and technical design. The preliminary design takes into account the loads acting on the structure, and the preliminary dimensions of the steel sections have also been selected.
The technical design includes a technical description, as well as structural and strength calculations for all elements.
