We have been longing for this date: On April 17 to 22, BAU 2023 opened its doors to around 190,000 visitors. The world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials, and systems was therefore more successful than ever before, even after the forced break caused by the coronavirus pandemic. We were very excited and full of anticipation about what to expect.
The trade fair days were also more than successful for Dlubal Software! Our colleagues Daniel Dlubal, Andreas Niemeier, Paul Kieloch, Thomas Eichner, Gerhard Rehm, and Christian Stautner introduced the new generation of the Dlubal structural analysis programs to the trade fair visitors. Whether steel structures, dynamic analysis, timber structures, or sales – there was something for everyone! On the fair Saturday, our HR team was also available at the booth. Thus, visitors could come to know all divisions of Dlubal Software better.
The concentrated computing power and the latest features were convincing across the board. Our exhibition team welcomed hundreds of visitors to the Dlubal booth. More than 200 of them had booked a live product demonstration with us in advance, and that was a complete success for us! Overall, BAU 2023 brought us plenty of new customers and many deals directly at the trade fair, and the Dlubal team immediately collected a large number of leads.
The organizers responded to the request for a regular exchange between the global construction industry, so the next BAU will take place in January 2025. We look back with great gratitude and joy on the past days of the fair and look forward to the next time!
