There's no such thing! Yes, it is: The year is already over again. We were sitting in the garden having a barbecue just a short time ago. Celebrating the summer and enjoying sunsets by the lake. And now? Now it's dark early and freezing cold.
Has it already snowed where you live? The first, still shy snowflakes are slowly falling over houses and forests – and on driveways and tracks. While we stand shivering on the platform and just want to go home, the train is still recovering from half a heart attack. Why? Because Stuttgart 21 has been postponed again? No kidding. No, something unexpected has happened.
It suddenly got cold at the end of the year! Frozen rails, snowflakes touching the track and making it impassable. Completely out of breath, the locomotive puffs into the station and is half an hour late in true style. And then the heating fails: This is when you realize that it's winter!
But let's be honest: we all love this time. Everything gets a bit quieter and quieter, except in traffic and in department stores. Snuggle up at home with a warm punch or the traditional cup of cocoa on the sofa under your favorite blanket. Fireplace and a Christmas movie (or two or three or …): It doesn't get more cozy and relaxing than this.
The end of the year - whether you celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve or not – is simply a special time. It feels like there are hundreds of end-of-year reviews, countdowns to the holidays and real classics on TV that flicker across the screens every year.
Of course, we at Dlubal also like to look back. Let's take a moment to reflect on how 2025 was distributed within the company, while the world outside was thrown quite a bit off kilter. Are you ready for the probably most positive annual review you'll read this year? Then stay tuned!
Kickoff for Dlubal Community Days
Many of you will certainly remember our info days. In 2025, a new edition of the Community Days was launched! Basically a revival of the info days, only better. Bigger. With more passion. And they were a real success!
In Berlin, Munich, Düsseldorf, Vienna, Prague, Paris, Nantes and Lyon, over 300 structural analysis enthusiasts took part. And it was far more than just a product event. It was a small piece of Dlubal DNA. Distinctive and unique.
We wanted to find out first-hand how you use our software. Where can we help you? Where are you perhaps not yet saving enough time? The direct contact between users and our engineers is unrivaled.
Here's the best part: In 2026, the Dlubal Community Days will go one step further. Literally. Because the dates have been extended to Denmark and Poland! Want to be part of the event too? Then keep a close eye on our website and social media accounts: Here you can find out exactly when it starts.
Dlubal on Tour: Trade Fairs 2025
Dlubal Software was of course also on the road at the major trade fairs in the construction industry. In fact, there were over 50 trade fair and conference presentations worldwide. Let's take a closer look at a few of the highlights.
As every year, BAU 2025 in Munich was an absolute highlight for our German team. Ten colleagues got talking to around 250 visitors at our stand. The odd spontaneous product demo, a bit of shop talk here and there: as always, it was great fun!
But it wasn't just construction trade fairs that were a real experience this year. We also invested a lot in our team and put ourselves in the right light for prospective engineers. The University and career fairs HOKO at the Munich University of Applied Sciences, WIK at the HTWK Leipzig and bauMARKT at the TU Dresden were a complete success! In total, our team has gained 48 new faces this year, including
- 24 in the Czech Republic
- 19 in Germany
- 2 in Italy
- 2 in the USA
- 1 in China.
2025 at Dlubal: Year of Anniversaries
2025 was a real year of anniversaries for us. The 10-year Dlubal celebration was held in the USA, France and Italy. A whole 10 years of success that shows: Dlubal has long been more than just a German-Czech family business. We are one big family and that worldwide. An international team that is truly impressive.
And not only the locations themselves, but also some colleagues celebrated their anniversary with us. Whether 10, 15, 20, 25, or even more than 30 years at Dlubal: they have shaped our company more than almost anyone else. The first software generations, big releases, projects that fell into the water and were pulled out of the depths at the last moment: These are moments that you never forget.
Summer Event in Pilsen (Czech Republic)
A very special highlight this year was our company trip to Pilsen. Whether from Tiefenbach, Munich, Leipzig, or Prague, the aim was to discover and have fun together. After a visit to the Škoda Museum and the city center of Pilsen or a tour and tasting in the city's own brewery, the teams met at a camp outside Pilsen.
There was something for everyone: mini golf, climbing, volleyball, soccer, boating. And at the end, it was off to the soccer pitch. Because, of course, the traditional friendly match Germany vs. the Czech Republic was on schedule. An all-round successful day!
Dlubal Community: Knowledge Grows When Shared
Physical meetings were not the only thing on the agenda in 2025. With the Dlubal Community, we have promoted a platform on which users can directly exchange ideas with our engineers – or with each other.
Mutual support, passing on knowledge and starting joint projects: That's the idea behind it. What we are particularly pleased about: many students and young engineers already use the platform regularly to continue meshing. A quick piece of advice on the topic for a graduation thesis? Looking for ideas for the latest project and brainstorming together? With the Dlubal Community, structural analysis comes to life!

NotebookLM: Prefer Listening to Reading
In recent years, podcasts and radio plays have become increasingly popular. Why? Because you can listen to content that interests you anywhere. Whether at breakfast, during morning exercise or simply after dinner on the sofa. Whenever reading would be too tiring or inconvenient.
We have taken this circumstance as an opportunity to take a big step further towards the future. NotebookLM is exactly this future. The content of our website comes to life as if by AI magic. Presented in dialog-like audio sequences – in German and English.
Two AI hosts guide you through topics that are not exactly considered light fare for in-between meals. Knowledge to go – a real enrichment for our website! And best of all, these audio versions now even have their own format: The Dlubal Structural Engineering Podcast. You can find it on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Co. Have a listen and give us your feedback!
Record Year for Dlubal Podcast
Speaking of podcasts: Our favorite audio format broke records again this year. In July there were 1,090 streams & downloads, then 1,112 in August, and 1,292 in October! Not only that, October was the strongest month in the history of this podcast.
In total, our podcast has over 40,000 audio views on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer & Co. There are also video versions of the episodes on YouTube! Here, too, we have between 250 and 500 views per month.
Go to Dlubal PodcastStories are told here every week. About people, buildings and all their facets. Of structural design, unusual career paths, tax wastage and bankrupt buildings. Recently, you will also receive all the news in the construction industry once a month. In our new format: Construction News. And we're really looking forward to welcoming you as listeners again next year!
Christmas Party 2025
Of course, our annual Christmas party at the Tiefenbach headquarters is a must. There was also a record number of people in attendance this year! Once again, it became clear how much our Team 2025 has grown.
After a real feast, the dance floor was opened in an exuberant atmosphere. We sang, danced, and laughed together until 2 a.m. and only grew closer as a team.
There were also awards this year. For people who have already enriched our company for a particularly long time. Only this time it was even cooler than usual: the favorite songs of the respective people played in the background when the gifts were presented. We had a lot of fun, almost like at a real Christmas party already. But there were more than enough reasons to celebrate.
Conclusion: 2025 at Dlubal Software
To summarize, 2025 was a complete success for us. On all planes. We have you to thank for this success. Everyone reading this. Whether colleagues, users of our software, students or simply people who share our motto: We love Enjoying structural analysis!
Thank you to all of you! We wish you Happy Holidays as you celebrate them. And a relaxed end to the year. But above all, we look forward to seeing you again in the new year, to reading or hearing from you. Take care and see you soon!
