Customer Project | Office Building of Municipal Works in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany

New Customer Project calculated with RFEM!

📍Office Building of Municipal Works in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany

👉 This building is very innovative. For the first time in Germany, a connection system for ceilings made of cross-laminated timber without supporting beams with large span lengths is implemented. Take a quick look to the nice project done with Dlubal Software.

📐 The aim was to design a fully sustainable office building. The upper floors of the new building will be carried out completely as a skeleton structure using cross-laminated timber. In order to ensure an appropriate bending and shear stiffness of the connections between the solid timber floor strips, concrete aisles with a width of 11.8 inches were used. These cross-sections include cross-threaded rods screwed into the faces of the timber panels.
