🎓 New Graduation Thesis: Static Solution of Substructure of Apartment Building 🎓
We are pleased to highlight Bc. Karel Kulík's Master’s thesis, which focuses on the design of a reinforced concrete foundation structure for a multi-story apartment building. The foundation is designed as a watertight white tank structure, combining a foundation slab and piles.
The analysis of internal forces was conducted using RFEM software, utilizing the finite element method with the SOILIN add-on. The basement structure underwent rigorous checks for both the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state design. Given the waterproofing requirements, the reinforcement was designed to handle non-force effects at an early stage.
