New Feature: Beam Panel | Semi-Rigid Connection of Sheeting
The latest update to our software introduces the Beam Panel feature for modeling semi-rigid connections of sheeting in beam diaphragms. This functionality allows for the consideration of nail pliability based on the EN 1995, NDS, and CSA O86 standards.
Pliability is represented by nonlinear line hinges, providing a more accurate and realistic simulation of how the connection behaves under load. This feature is essential for properly modeling the interaction between sheeting and beams in timber structures.
