Exciting new bachelor's thesis project! 🎓
We are glad to share that Luis Miguel Maldonado Guillén has completed his bachelor's thesis on the Design and Analysis of a Tensile Membrane Roof for the iconic Málaga Bullring 🏛️🐂, using our RFEM 6 software.
The project focuses on the creation of a lightweight roof structure, incorporating various diameters of Pfeifer cables, circular CHS sections, and PVC membranes. The structural design and analysis were carried out using RFEM 6 with the Form-Finding add-on, supported by RWIND 3 for wind load calculations.
Additionally, several RFEM 6 add-ons were used for comprehensive design checks, including:
🔹 Steel Design 🏗️
🔹 Structure Stability 🔒
🔹 Stress-Strain Analysis 📊
This thesis highlights how RFEM 6 continues to support innovative and efficient structural design in complex projects like this!
