The roof system uses High Point fabric supported by anchored columns that creates pleasant shade while maintaining visual openness toward the surrounding landscape. In the evening, warm, soft lighting enhances the atmosphere.
The membrane shape was developed through form-finding in RFEM, including precise cutting patterns and steel component assessment. The geometry was optimized for uniform pre-tensioning and to meet architectural and aesthetic requirements. The structure transfers loads directly to the foundations without a truss system.
The design included nonlinear analysis, water accumulation risk assessment, CFD wind simulations in RWIND, and snow load evaluation. Winter conditions were verified on site. 🌬️
🎯 Result
Precise cutting patterns enabled quick installation and minimal material waste, and created a structure that is stable, lightweight, and visually distinctive.
