Cross-Section Properties Programs
Two specialized programs for cross-section properties: DUENQ and DICKQ. Both programs offer extensive modeling capabilities and a graphical user interface.
SHAPE-THIN
The SHAPE‑THIN stand‑alone program determines the section properties of open or closed thin‑walled and cold-formed cross-sections, icluding stress analysis and plastic design.
SHAPE-THIN includes a connection option to RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8: SHAPE-THIN sections are also available in the library of the FEA software or the frame & truss analysis software; and conversely, you can import and design the RFEM and RSTAB internal forces in SHAPE‑THIN.
SHAPE-MASSIVE
The SHAPE‑MASSIVE cross-section properties software runs independently of the main program. The program determines the section properties of any thick-walled cross-section and calculates the stresses. Furthermore, it is possible to perform the reinforced concrete design according to Eurocode 2 and other standards.
For SHAPE‑MASSIVE, there is a connection option to RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8: The SHAPE‑MASSIVE sections are also available in the library of the FEA software or the frame analysis software; and conversely, the RFEM and RSTAB internal forces can be imported and designed in SHAPE‑MASSIVE.
