Online Training on Design of Timber Structures According to DIN EN 1995‑1‑1

This training provides an introduction to the design of timber structures with the program RFEM 6. The special features of timber as a construction material with regard to the design are discussed. After designing two-dimensional structures, the design is transferred to the three-dimensional. In addition to the ULS design checks, the SLS design, fire resistance design, and the more complex vibration design are explained.
Time Schedule
-
Basis of the calculation
Presentation of RFEM 6
Status of the standard EN 1995-1-1
-
Structural analysis according to EC5

Please Note

A reliable internet connection is required to participate the online training. Basic knowledge of RSTAB or RFEM is also expected.

During the training, each participant can ask questions via chat at any time.

After the training, each participant receives:
  • Training certificate
  • Training presentation to download
  • Used models to download
  • Video recording of the training
This allows the participant to go through and understand the training step by step by means of the models.

To take part in the online training, the participant will receive the login information in due time.
