[EN] FAQ 001450 | Is there a way to simplify the design of a structural system?

Question:
Is there a way to simplify the design of a structural system?

Answer:
In RFEM and RSTAB, it is possible to create line grids. Cartesian, inclined, spherical, and cylindrical grids can be created as well as labeled and dimensioned, of course. These facilitate the modeling of surface, girder, or grid models.

You can open the dialog box for creating a new line grid using the menu "Insert" → "Line Grid". The "Line Grid" dialog box appears where you can define the new grid.

The settings for the line grid can be saved as a template and used again later.
