In RFEM and RSTAB, you can define nonlinear properties of member releases. In addition to activity diagrams and the force-deformation relationship, you also have the option to simply use the signs of the internal forces as criteria for the release effectiveness. In this way, you can specify which internal forces should be transferred at the member end.
