Question:
Why are new COs generated during the calculation in RF‑/FOUNDATION Pro?
Answer:
When activating the sliding design and/or Method 2* in RF‑/FOUNDATION Pro, the program requires characteristic load eccentricities for these design checks according to EN 1997‑1‑1.
However, you have to select a gamma-fold ULS load (CO or RC) for the design. Then, the RF‑/FOUNDATION Pro add-on module automatically generates characteristic load cases from these gamma-fold load cases (CO or RC) and saves them in the background in the module. During the calculation of the module case, you will thus get the convergence diagram of the calculation of the COs that do not exist in the model at all.
