The “Load Transfer” member type transfers member and nodal loads directly to neighboring connected objects. These can be nodal supports, members, surfaces, solids, and line supports. The load transfer member has no stiffness.
Load transfer properties can also be activated as an additional option for other member types, such as the beam member. The functionality is the same, but these member types keep their original stiffness.
