In RSECTION, you can also manually define subpanels for calculating effective cross-sections. In addition to selecting the relevant elements, you can individually specify support conditions, extensions or shortenings, and their thickness.
Manual input is enabled via an option in the base data. You will then have access to additional editing functions in the table, in the 'Edit Subpanel' dialog box, in the Navigator, and in the 'Insert' menu. If the subpanels are not defined manually, they will continue to be generated automatically in accordance with the requirements of the applicable design standard. All design add-ons in RFEM and RSTAB take the user-defined subpanels into account.
