Is the part of the surface load subtracted in the region of openings?
If there are openings in the surfaces, no surface load is applied to them, that is, they are indeed subtracted from the entire load.
You can check this by means of a simple rectangular surface with a rectangular opening and the results table 4.0, which shows the sum of the loading (see figure).
