Considering Self-Weight and Gravity in Design Checks

How can I find out how the self-weight of a foundation plate or any imposed load on the foundation plate is considered in the design checks?

Answer:

For all design checks performed in RF‑/FOUNDATION Pro, you can view and check the design details including all intermediate values.

To view the intermediate results, open result window "2.2 Governing Design Criteria". Here, select the design type from the upper table; for example, "Ground failure (EC 7, 6.5.2)". A detailed table appears in the lower part of the dialog box and shows all intermediate values for the design.

This way, you can see how the self-weight of the foundation plate is determined and applied for the respective design, for example. Or how the earth covering is considered in the design.

Partial factors change, depending on the design. This is also apparent from the intermediate values.
