Entering Cross-Sections

In my model, I use members with the cross-section IPE 140. Why does the cross-section of the members change when I insert new members as IPE 200? How can I enter different cross-sections?

Answer:

There are several options for creating members. It is possible to define a cross-section for the member start and end.

You can import a new cross-section from the cross-section library.

New Cross-Section from Cross-Section Library
You can create a new cross-section.

Creating New Cross-Section
You can edit an existing cross-section. However, this option changes the cross-section that is already used: All members with Cross-Section 1 assigned to them will get a new cross-section after editing them.
