To hide hidden objects in the background, you will find the option under the Display navigator in the General tab to “Display hidden objects in the background” (see image). If the tab is removed here, unselected objects are hidden and no longer visible.
This function is also available in the context menu. Right-clicking in an empty field brings up the following context menu:
The intensity of transparent, hidden objects can be varied in the program options under Options-Program options-Settings-“3D Graphics” (see image).
