We have deliberately opted for a short update cycle with the goal of always providing the latest and most stable versions. This offers several key advantages:
1. Agile Development & Customer Focus: Customer feedback can be implemented quickly and integrated directly into the software.
2. New Features and Improvements: Updates include new features, optimizations, or enhancements to existing features. These are immediately available without it being necessary to wait for the next update. In the Base Data under the add-on tab, you can get an overview of the current beta options.
3. Faster bug fixes: If a bug is detected, users don’t have to wait weeks or even months for an update. Instead, fixes are released promptly, which significantly improves the software’s reliability and stability during operation.
‘Version Planning for Projects
It is helpful to ensure that updates are installed at convenient times (for example, after a project is completed), as complications may arise if models from the latest version are opened in older versions.
In your Dlubal account (Extranet), you can check which new features have been implemented and which bugs have been fixed.
In addition, all versions are available for download under the “Products for Download” tab.

The second version number changes at the start of each new quarter, so you can no longer use the next version without a service contract.
