When starting the foundation design in the Concrete Foundations add-on, the error “ER0000 - Validation failed” is displayed. What is the reason?
This error appears if no allowable column is detected at the foundation node.
The Concrete Foundations add-on only supports vertical, non-rotated columns (local z-axis parallel to the global z-axis).
Inclined or rotated columns cannot be designed → Validation fails.
Workaround:
Insert a short vertical member section above the foundation node and use it to design the foundation.
