Definition of Concrete Foundations in RFEM 6

How are foundations defined in RFEM 6?

Answer:

In RFEM 6, foundations are not created as stand-alone 3D objects in the structural model, but are assigned directly to a nodal support.

To do this, the “Foundations” option is activated in the nodal support. You can then create a single foundation or select an already defined foundation and assign it to the support.

The foundation is thus always tied to a support and is not modeled separately in the global model. This approach is central to the workflow, as changes to foundations are made directly via the associated nodal supports.
