The structural analysis software RFEM 6 is the basis of a modular software system. The main program RFEM 6 is used to define structures, materials, and loads of planar and spatial structural systems consisting of plates, walls, shells, and members. The program also allows you to create combined structures as well as to model solid and contact elements.
RSTAB 9 is a powerful analysis and design software for 3D beam, frame, or truss structure calculations, reflecting the current state of the art and helping structural engineers meet requirements in modern civil engineering.
Do you often spend too long calculating cross-sections? Dlubal Software and the RSECTION stand-alone program facilitate your work by determining section properties of various cross-sections and performing a subsequent stress analysis.
Do you always know where the wind is blowing from? From the direction of innovation, of course! With RWIND 2, you have a program at your side that uses a digital wind tunnel for the numerical simulation of wind flows. The program simulates these flows around any building geometry and determines the wind loads on the surfaces.
Are you looking for an overview of snow load zones, wind zones, and seismic zones? Then you are in the right place. Use the Geo-Zone Tool to determine quickly and efficiently snow loads, wind speeds, and seismic data according to ASCE 7‑16 and other international standards.
Would you like to try out the capabilities of the Dlubal Software programs? You have the opportunity to do so! The free 90-day full version allows you to thoroughly test all our programs.
There are optional service contracts for the RFEM, RSTAB, and RX‑TIMBER program families.
Service contracts guarantee the maintenance of the product as well as the use of new features via provided updates. Furthermore, with an existing service contract, you will receive preferential conditions for future upgrades and hotline support via email.

Since the software works for other users, we can assume a local problem. If you have not already done so, please uninstall the software and then reinstall the current customer version.
If the problem persists, the software is most likely blocked by an antivirus program. We recommend adding Dlubal Software programs, including the working directory, to the exceptions of all existing antivirus programs.
You can find the path of the working directory in the menu "Options" → "Program Options", tab "Data Files" → category "Working Directory"; see the image.
As already mentioned in this message, the corresponding permissions to delete the files are missing or the files are in use.
To avoid this problem, the "Sentinel LDK License Manager" service should be stopped first.
Then, it is necessary to delete the files "hasplms.exe" and "hasplmv.exe" from the directory C:\Windows\System32.
Note 1: On some computers, the files are not located under C:\Windows\System32, but under C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Aladdin Shared\HASP\.
Note 2: In some cases, it may happen that the files cannot be deleted. In this case, you have to move the files to the desktop, for example, and then delete them.
Except for RWIND Simulation, all Dlubal Software products use the same dongle driver. Therefore, one-time update or installation is sufficient, for example.
The COMPOSITE‑BEAM program allows for design of composite beams according to the preliminary standard ENV 1994‑1‑1:1992:10.
Until further notice, only the pre-standard is implemented. Design according to EN 1994‑1‑1 is currently not possible.

Generally, licensing requires two things:
The license key can be provided via a USB dongle or via a network softlock on a central company server. For licensing from a client, it is necessary to have a permanent connection to the server. Once a license has been assigned, it is visible on the web-based license interface at http://localhost:1947/_int_/sessions.html.
The automatic time-out after 12 hours of inactivity prevents the license from being permanently assigned and releases it to other users.
With the most recent generation of license keys, it is possible to activate 50 licenses for each program and add-on module. This means that you can access RFEM and RF‑STEEL EC3 from a maximum of 50 computers at the same time.
No, it is not possible to distribute network licenses via Dropbox.
The management of network licenses requires a server service running via the network. This service can run on a special server or on a normal workstation computer. However, the workstation computer would always have to be switched on if users in the network wanted to access Dlubal licenses.
Files with the file extension .rf5t and .rs8t were created using the trial version of RFEM or RSTAB. These files are bound to the computer where they were created and can, therefore, only be opened on the corresponding computer.
Please note that commercial use of the trial version is not permitted.
Installation problems often have the following causes:
Check to see if the signal light of the dongle is on (see Image 01). If not, try another USB slot, preferably directly on the motherboard and not on a USB hub or the front of the computer.
If the light is still not on, perform a test on another PC with RFEM 5, RSTAB 8, SHAPE‑THIN, or RX‑TIMBER installed. If the result is the same, the dongle is most likely damaged and needs to be replaced.
If an error message appears even when the signal light is on, please make sure that you are using the most current authorization file author.ini.
If you cannot solve the problem, please send us a screenshot of the error message, a brief description of the problem, and the diagnostic file; you can generate this using the program menu Help (see Image 02).
