For example, you can consider imperfections in the ultimate limit state design checks. The serviceability limit state design can be performed without imperfections. To do this, select the "Differently for each combination expression" check box. Furthermore, you can select the "Imperfection load cases…" check box in the case of ultimate limit state design and clear the check box in the case of serviceability limit state design.
Consideration of Imperfections in Combination Expressions
RFEM and RSTAB provide the option to create load and result combinations automatically according to the combination expressions defined in the standards. In this case, imperfections can be set differently for each combination expression.
