In the input windows, you can enter all the data necessary for the calculation and adjust the desired parameter settings. You can select the member ends to be designed graphically in the model. RF-/END‑PLATE will recognize the corresponding cross‑sections and their dimensions automatically.
The individual control elements allow you to enter specifications for the weld seam, bolt arrangement, end plate geometry, and the weld seam layout. The graphical representation in the program adapts dynamically to each changed input. The end plate thickness, welds, and bolt diameters can either be designed by the program or you can define them.
- For connections at different locations, you can select a structurally uniform joint type. Since RF‑/END PLATE automatically determines the governing internal forces from the load cases provided for the design, no manual input is required.
