In the Steel Design add-on, the partial internal forces method with and without redistribution according to Prof. Kindmann is available for steel design according to EN 1993-1-1.
The method can also be used to perform plastic cross-section design checks in cases that are not explicitly covered by the Eurocode (for example, interaction with warping bimoment). The method can be activated in the ultimate configuration for steel design.
