Merging Parts

This feature allows you to merge selected parts into a single part in RSECTION. Parts made of the same material are combined if they touch or overlap. Parts made of different materials, on the other hand, are geometrically subtracted from one another to completely eliminate overlaps. Merging parts does not affect existing lines; these remain unchanged and are not automatically merged.

The software interface shows how individual parts are merged into a T-shaped cross-section with a cavity and material definitions.
