The model of an industrial building was completely parameterized in 3D to automatically generate wind, snow, and seismic loads. The crane load cases were created in Excel and imported into RFEM, while RF-DYNAM Pro was used for seismic loads. The RF-STABILITY add-on module was used to determine the effective lengths of the frame columns, while RF-STEEL EC3 designed and optimized the members. The model was developed by Albyr in Bordeaux, France (© Albyr). This method allows for quick changes and efficient load analysis.
