Question
When starting the Dlubal Software programs, the error message "Server is busy" appears. My colleagues do not experience this problem. I have already tried to reinstall. What should I do?Answer
Since the software works for other users, we can assume a local problem. If you have not already done so, please uninstall the software and then reinstall the current customer version.
If the problem persists, the software is most likely blocked by an antivirus program. We recommend to add the Dlubal Software programs, including the working directory, to the exceptions of all existing antivirus programs.
You can find the path of the working directory in the menu "Options" → "Program Options," tab "Data Files" → category "Working Directory," see the figure.

User -defined visibilities facilitate program handling. Once created, any model groups can be quickly hidden or shown. This facilitates, among other things the analysis of the results in larger 3D structures but also the creation of the report. When changing the geometry, the existing visibilities may have to be updated.Screenshots

Increased Calculation Performance by Reducing the Nodal Degrees of Freedom
The number of degrees of freedom in a node is no longer a global calculation parameter in RFEM (6 degrees of freedom for each mesh node in 3D models, 7 degrees of freedom for the warping torsion analysis). Thus, each node is generally considered with a different number of degrees of freedom, which leads to a variable number of equations in the calculation.
This modification speeds up the calculation, especially for models where a significant reduction of the system could be achieved (e.g. trusses and membrane structures).
