How is it possible to model a pure compression connection between two surfaces so that a wall leans against another wall?


You can create such a connection by using a line release. In Figure 01, you can see an example model where Wall 1 should only transfer compression forces to Wall 2.

First, it is necessary to open the dialog box for creating a line release (Figure 02). In the dialog box (Figure 03), you can now select the lines for the release and the type. The type must also be created. The coordinate system of the line specifies the direction, so that "Fixed if positive vy" must be selected (Figure 04). 

Figure 05 and Figure 06 show the effect of the line release in two load cases.
