We are an office with 5 structural engineers and have upgraded our existing RSTAB 8 / RFEM 5 software to RFEM 6 some time ago. However, since we were able to continue using our old RSTAB 8 / RFEM 5 licenses, we kept shifting the actual use of RFEM 6. It was only when I wanted to use the Steel Joints add-on that I was forced to use RFEM 6. Now, about six months later and aware of the new possibilities in RFEM 6, I don't want to go back to RSTAB 8 and I regret that I didn't start using RFEM 6 immediately after the upgrade.
It takes a little time and patience to achieve the same performance as with RSTAB 8, but with the well-written manuals, the really good hotline support, and a little goodwill, the changeover is easy to manage. I can really recommend the upgrade from RSTAB 8 / RFEM 5 to RFEM 6.
