The pedestrian bridge over the Taffa river incorporates a complex overall concept that includes not only the bridge function but also a garden shed and a seating platform. The filigree, multi-bent truss girders also serve as railings. Structural engineers Konstrukt:ING GmbH and the award-winning architectural office 4juu architekten were heavily involved in the implementation. The 3D model was created in RSTAB (© Konstrukt:ING GmbH) and represents innovative steel and lightweight structures in an Austrian context. The model impressively illustrates modern construction methods and sophisticated details in bridge construction.
