On the Mediterranean island of Formentera, an innovative single-story cross-laminated timber building has been constructed and is used as a sailing school and water sports center. Two separate building sections are connected in the roof area by low-lying glue-laminated timber beams. The structure demonstrates the modern use of timber building materials. Structural design: Ing. Albert Admetlla Font, Kmod Enginyeria en Fusta SL, Spain.
