The model of a cantilever beam with a concentrated load is ideal for illustrating the effects of a beam fixed on one side under a concentrated load. It was presented in the free webinar "The Most Common User Errors in RFEM and RSTAB" (on February 4, 2021, in English; on January 28, 2021, in German). The finite element analysis software RFEM is used to open the model. The application provides valuable insights into the basic principles of building behavior.
