The model of a steel tank illustrates the application of the finite element analysis software RFEM for the analysis of stress states in steel structures. It was presented in the free webinar “Stress Analysis of Surfaces and Members in RFEM 6” (December 13, 2022 in German, December 15, 2022 in English). The model allows for the import of relevant analysis parameters and provides a solid basis for understanding complex load cases. It is ideal for illustrating realistic stress analyses on structural steel elements.
