With increasing complexity and the ability to model structures more accurately and realistically, FEA software is becoming increasingly comprehensive and complicated to use. Climate change is leading to more frequent extreme events, such as strong winds, floods, and earthquakes, which impose dynamic loads on structures.

Dynamic Analysis of Steel Structures According to Eurocode 8

The aim of this thesis is to apply the Dlubal RFEM 6 software and the add-ons Modal Analysis, Response Spectrum Analysis, Time History Analysis, and Pushover Analysis. These modules will be used to perform a dynamic analysis of single-mass metal oscillators. The Harmonic Frequency Analysis add-on is not yet available in RFEM and will therefore only be described.
