🏗️ New Customer Project: Renovation of Industrial Facility into Logistics Center in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine 🇺🇦
In Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, PPVP KARKAS, one of our valued customers, has designed the renovation of an existing industrial facility into a modern logistics center. After 32 years of inactivity, the site is being repurposed as a storage facility, giving new life to this industrial complex.
Key details of the project:
▪️ The 920 m² site and an additional 62.6 m² utility room were renovated, along with a new crane beam.
▪️ New vertical walls were erected as truss constructions to support the structure.
▪️ The roof's concrete structure was redesigned due to an increase in snow load and preparation for future solar modules.
RFEM 6 was used for the detailed design of this project, employing such powerful add-ons as Prestress, Construction Stages Analysis (CSA), Stress-Strain Analysis, Concrete Design, and Steel Design to ensure the perfect interaction of existing prestressed concrete slabs, trusses, and new composite beams.
A great example of repurposing existing structures for modern use, blending structural innovation with sustainability.
