🏗️ New customer project from China: Steel Hall with Truss Girders
This project features a complex steel structure with wide-span beams, steel frames, roof bracing, and wall cladding. With girders reaching lengths of 30 meters, ensuring structural stability during the assembly process was one of the main challenges. 🔧
To achieve a safe and efficient construction, the team applied a modular lifting method, allowing entire structural segments to be installed by crane. This approach significantly reduced on-site risks and improved construction efficiency.
All structural modeling and design checks were carried out in RFEM 6, enabling precise verification of global and local stability at every construction stage.
Using the Construction Stages add-on, the engineers defined the construction sequence step by step to guarantee safety throughout the process. The Steel Design add-on provided detailed assessments of the load-bearing capacity of steel components at each stage.
This integrated digital workflow ensured a smooth, safe, and cost-effective construction process, even when working with wide-span elements and demanding site conditions.
