The “Cable on Pulleys” member type allows you to realistically model crane pulleys and pulley systems, among other things. The roller diameter and friction losses can be defined individually. Based on this input, RFEM automatically adapts the structural model and integrates both the modified geometry and the selected loss assumptions into the analysis model.
