Effective Length Factors for Aluminum and Steel Design

Are effective length factors determined automatically from a model in the add-on modules for aluminum and steel design, or do I have to make adjustments?

Answer:
All effective length factors are preset to 1.0 by default. There is no calculation of the factors based on the model.

The effective length factors must be adjusted manually for the design, or they can be imported from the add‑on modules RSBUCK or RF‑STABILITY.
