What does the ratio b/h refer to, when determining the minimum reinforcement according to 9.3.2 in RF-CONCRETE Surfaces?

Answer

The option controls whether the minimum shear reinforcement based on the dimensions of the structural component for a slab (b/h < 5) or for a beam (b/h > 4) is determined. The height or the thickness of the surface corresponds to h and the smallest edge length of the structural component corresponds to b (see Figure 02).
