RFEM 5 | Modeling Perpendicular Line from Node to Next Line

How can I model a line perpendicular to the next line from a particular node?

Answer:

The "Rotate" and "Extend Line" functions are suitable for this purpose:

  • Rotate a line adjacent to the corresponding node by 90 degrees (shortcut menu: Rotate).
  • Extend a new line from the member start/end using the "Extend Line" function (shortcut menu) up to the next line.
