Selecting Objects

Can I create visibility from objects even though the function is grayed?

Answer:

Yes, you can do this very easily in an indirect way. Use Excel for any objects you can specifically select with the Select function.

Export the desired spreadsheet to Excel. In our example, we want to select all members that contain the entries for form-finding.

In Excel, you can then use the TEXTJOIN formula to display all member numbers with commas as separators in one row, as a continuous enumeration.

You can copy this list, then use the Select function to specifically transfer the desired objects to your selection, thus creating the visibility.
