The “Member Loads from Area Loads” wizard enables the input of variable surface loads. If you select this option in the “Load Distribution” category, you can enter the load scheme in the “Variable” tab.
The distribution of the load refers to the origin of the global coordinate system. If the structural element to be loaded is not located at the origin, it is necessary to increase the location for load input by the distance from the origin.
If a structural element to be loaded is inclined in space, projected distances to one of the global axes are required for the load input.
When copying or moving, the load coordinates are not modified. Therefore, in this case, it is necessary to correct the load coordinates afterwards.
