Column and Wall Connections in the Building Model

How do I model pinned connections of columns and walls in the building model?

Answer:

The connections of columns and walls can be defined via node and line support modeling in the 'Global Settings' of the building model.

If an additional hinged definition of columns or walls is made, care must be taken when the floor slab stiffness is set to 'Rigid' to always restrain one degree of freedom on one side of a column so that the system does not become kinematic. Otherwise, the structural system would be statically indeterminate due to the internal hinges of a rigid plane.
