In the Concrete Design add-on, you can have the reinforcement designed for surface design. Using the reinforcement type 'Design value | Uncovered required reinforcement', you can quickly calculate a provided reinforcement for the surface design.
The required reinforcement is determined from the ultimate limit state design and used as the applied reinforcement for this reinforcement type and its further design. You only have to specify the rebar diameter.
