What does the indication "Group" mean when defining a new result combination?
Answer
In the "Group" column, you can see how the individual load cases are summarized in groups as they are considered in the combination criterion.
In the example picture, load cases 3 to 6 are within Group 1. Load cases 11 and 12 belong to Group 2.
Now, we can imagine some brackets enclosing the groups: 1.35*LC1/p + (1.5*LC3 or to LC6) + 1.5*LC7 + (1.5*LC11 or 1.5*LC12)
The individual group numbers help to understand the combination so that it can be interpreted more easily. This function is especially useful for combinations with several "and", "or" assignments.
